Xinglong Temple

In 1775, it was said that a resident from Yongchun county, Fukien Province, sponsored building Xinglong Temple ( or Mazu Temple) in Mingquan street. However, according to the record from Xinglong Temple, it was built in 1749. Compared the two records, the time differed by 26 years. According to the presumption, the former was the time building the temple for the public to worship and the latter was the time moving to Sanjiaoyong. In compliance with the history, Chen Yu started reclamation in Yingge in 1685, Chen Dang started in Sanjiaoyong between 1736 and 1746, and Dong Yue-Xu assarted Sanjiaoyong in 1755.
